Your child will grow up surrounded by laughter, adventure, and an extended family overflowing with cousins (10 with 1 on the way), play, and love. We live in a sunny coastal area, so weekends are often spent at the beach, playing in the surf and eating tacos on the pier with friends. Our home is alive with activity, from cooking and baking together to playing games and enjoying the outdoors. We have a sweet puppy who fills our days with joy and a close-knit community filled with families and young kids, all ready to embrace your child as one of their own.

Andrew is an entrepreneur who started a biotech company, and Sarah is an art director who loves inspiring creativity. We can’t wait to share our passions with your child—from encouraging a love for reading, art, and learning to showing them the importance of cherishing life’s little moments with the people you love most. Above all, we will raise them with compassion, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.

We understand that this choice is filled with hopes and dreams for your child’s future, and we want you to know that we will listen and share in those hopes. We are committed to supporting your child as they grow into the incredible person they are meant to be, always surrounded by love and care.

Adoption has always held a special place in our hearts. Sarah grew up with adopted cousins and adopted close family-friends, and from a young age, she knew she wanted to share the loving and supportive home she experienced growing up, with a child through adoption. After facing years of infertility, we both felt deeply that this was the right time to pursue adoption—a choice rooted in love, hope, and a desire to grow our family. For us, adoption is about creating a home where a child feels unconditionally loved, supported, and celebrated for who they are, and we feel blessed that we’ve been given the tools and support to strive to provide these things. It’s also an opportunity for us to honor the profound courage and love of a birth mother, building a bridge of trust and care for the child’s future. We believe that family is built through love, and we’re ready to pour our hearts into giving your child a life full of joy, security, and opportunity.

As we walk this journey with you, we embrace the idea of open adoption and look forward to understanding how you wish to stay connected to your child. We desire your child to know where they came from, and to know how loved they are, and want to find ways that they can learn about and know their heritage. We look forward to discovering this together and learning and respecting the things you hope for in this process.

We lead an active and joy-filled lifestyle, filled with outdoor adventures with our puppy like hiking and beach walks, as well as cozy days at home cooking, baking, spontaneous dance parties, and playing games. Sarah loves the arts, and is excited to build an environment where your child can explore all things creative and express themselves through reading, playing music, and creativity. Andrew has a deep love for the beach and can’t wait to teach your child to surf and enjoy the community and culture that brings. Travel is something we are especially excited to share because we believe it expands worldviews and fosters a more diverse, empathetic, and curious way of living.

Above all things, what we value most is our family and friends. Our home is a gathering place for game nights, BBQs, and a strong sense of community, and we believe loving others and supporting the people around us is the most joyful way to live. We can’t wait to create a warm, welcoming environment where your child can grow up surrounded by that love, and to discover what activities they love and foster a space for them to grow and be the amazing person they are meant to be.

• We met our freshman year of college (2009) line dancing! Andrew asked Sarah to dance and we were inseparable since then.
• We love making homemade pizza and hosting pizza nights for friends! It’s a weekly tradition in our home.
• We are both middle children and find it’s shaped our personalities to be very content, easy-going, joyful people.
• We both have started businesses and love being creative and trying new things.

Sarah is a true giver, and brings light and joy to all those around her. She is intentional, encouraging, and wise, and really creates a safe space for anyone she talks to. She deeply loves all people, and is constantly looking for ways to better support and help those around her!

Outside of that she is so fun and loves to create adventures and warmth in our home! She is always ready to plan the next fun thing, and has a gift for bringing people together and making them feel loved.

She has a deep love for kids and is always so great with the kids in our lives. She is patient, kind, and brings creativity to the way she loves them, creating little adventures filled with imagination and laughter. Her empathy and joy will make for such an understanding and supportive mom!

Andrew is the most genuine, good-hearted, joyful person I have ever met. He brings people together, and always creates a fun and supportive environment wherever he goes. He is kind through all things, even the hardest moments, and is a giver to all those around him, always looking for ways to love and serve.

Outside of those things he is extremely hard working, bright, and has never met a problem he couldn’t solve. I admire how chases his dreams in business and personal life, but never sacrifices his integrity or values through those endeavors.

Most of all, I love seeing the way he loves our nieces and nephews. He is so silly and fun with them, and brings laughter, joy, and care to all their interactions. He is patient and so kind and I know he will make an amazing Dad to your child!

We’ve both found passion in our work and are thankful for the stability and flexibility our jobs provide. Andrew is an engineer who founded a biotech company that works on projects with cancer research and other life saving medicines. He gets to work from home and loves the freedom it brings! Sarah is an Art Director at Linkedin and loves pouring into the people she works with, the healthy work environment, and the creativity the job provides.

We feel so blessed to have a cute little home 3 miles from the beach in a surf town off the coast of California! We love our local culture, from the delicious fish tacos on the pier, to the downtown farmers market, to the mom and pop coffee shop down the street, it all feels so community based and down to earth, which we really love. The beach is our second backyard, and we can’t wait to bring your child into the lifestyle of enjoying the beautiful ocean, playing in the sand, and loving what we call “endless summer” here in Ventura.

We love that’s it’s sunny and warm most of the year here, which is great for gardening and growing our own produce when we can! And when we are craving a change in weather, it’s just a few hour drive to the mountains and snow where we can enjoy a change in scenery.

We feel incredibly blessed by our families, and family truly means everything to us. Our parents have both been married over 40 years and have set an amazing example of how to build healthy and loving homes. Between the two of us we have 5 siblings, all are married to amazing people, and all have kiddos. We have 10 nieces and nephews, and one on the way! All of our families live throughout California, and we spend as much time as possible visiting them, planning trips together, and doing life together. We are extremely close to both families, and feel so blessed to have love and support from all of them. They cannot wait to welcome your child into our family and provide a healthy and warm environment for them to grow up in.

Outside of family we have an amazing loving and diverse group of friends who are our daily community and support. They have been praying for you and your baby since we started this adoption journey, and we feel so thankful to have them in this journey with us.

Everything in our lives is rooted in faith and our deep love for God. The love and truth of God is our foundation, and we desire to raise a child to know they are deeply and loved and accept by God, no matter what. We believe that loving and serving others is the best way to demonstrate our beliefs, and strive to live a life and build a home that reflects the joy and light and hope of Christ.

We are deeply committed to honoring and respecting the racial diversity of your child and ensuring they grow up in an environment that celebrates their unique identity. Living in a town that has a large Latino presence, with a mix of other races, we are surrounded by cultural diversity and inclusivity. We are dedicated to continually learning and embracing your child’s heritage, fostering pride in who they are, and creating opportunities for them to connect with their roots. Additionally, we will actively seek out positive role models who look like them and can offer support and inspiration as they grow. Our goal is to provide a nurturing and empowering space where they feel seen, valued, and loved for every part of who they are.

Meet Ollivander aka “Olli”, our fun loving, sweet, adorable little maltipoo. Olli is 8 lbs of pure excitement and love, and brings so much laughter and joy to our home. He absolutely loves people, especially kids, and can’t wait to have a little one around to love on, protect, and play with!

One of our favorite family traditions is Sarah’s extended family reunion. Every summer we go to a set of beach houses up on the Oregon coast, with Sarah’s 20 cousins and now all of their spouses and kids. There are 42 children, and 40 adults, and the time is filled with beach activities, treasure hunts, family Olympics, and so much fun! Sarah has been going since she was a baby and it’s fun to see the tradition continue and grow and more people enter the family!

Outside of that, we always have fun traditions during the holidays with our families. Whether it’s gingerbread house making, wearing matching pajamas, reenacting the nativity story with all the kids, or riding the mini car built by Andrew’s dad to see Christmas lights, there is no shortage of laughter and fun!

We look forward to creating new family traditions as we bring your child into our home, and bringing forward any traditions that are meaningful to you to be continued on. We are committed to learning about any cultural or family norms, and respecting and integrating those into our everyday lives!
