From a young age, both Srey and I have dreamed of having children. We come from close-knit families filled with love, laughter, and support, and we’ve been fortunate to nurture and build bonds with our cousins, nieces, and nephews over the years. These experiences have deepened our desire to grow our own family. While we’ve spent years trying to have a child—both naturally and through IVF—we believe that adoption is the path meant for us. We’re ready and excited to open our hearts and home to a child, providing them with a life full of love, encouragement, and opportunity.

On Adoption:

Adoption holds a special place in our lives. Our cousin Chris was adopted 34 years ago and has always been an integral part of our family. His journey has enriched our understanding of love, connection, and the beauty of building a family in different ways. His wife, Jessica, has demonstrated this same love and generosity by volunteering to be a gestational carrier for us, a gesture that deeply touches us and exemplifies our family bonds. Adoption has always been a symbol of love, inclusivity, and the belief that family is built on more than just biology—it’s built on heart.

Our life is full of love, laughter, and exploration, and we can’t wait to share it all with your child. We are surrounded by an incredible circle of family and friends who are as excited as we are to welcome a little one into our lives. We spend our time enjoying cultural experiences from theatre and museums to trying new foods and exploring new countries. Discovering new things and challenging ourselves to learn and grow is important to us. Whether it’s a quiet evening doing crosswords or other puzzles at home, a day spent outdoors hiking, at the beach, or traveling to explore a new city/country, we’ll provide a life filled with opportunities to create memories and grow together.

We want your child to feel surrounded by love, supported in their dreams, and encouraged to discover the world. In our home, they will have a safe, nurturing environment where imagination and curiosity are celebrated every day. We’ll make sure they know how much love you have for them and how special they are to us.

Fun Facts:

In our free time, we love watching live performances (theatre, concerts, dance), cooking new recipes together, hiking local trails, and hosting game nights with friends and family. You might not be surprised to learn that we are always the first to try the most adventurous dish on any menu. You may however, be surprised to hear that we have been in the same fantasy football league for years and Srey is typically more competitive than Jeramiah. We lived in Brooklyn, NY when we got engaged and for the first 2 years of our marriage but moved back to Los Angeles during the pandemic to be closer to friends and family.

Srey is an incredible mix of strength, determination, and tenderness. She is one of the most dependable people I know. Her warmth and care make her the person everyone turns to in times of need. She has an unwavering dedication and focus. For the last 3 years, she has shown incredible discipline in her diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices, avoiding alcohol and caffeine—all to prepare herself to have the best possible chance at having a baby. She’s fiercely competitive, the kind of person everyone wants on their team.

I love the way she talks about her family. Srey is their sparkle, and the glue that binds them together. She comforts those who are sad and encourages anyone who feels stuck.

Srey will bring that same love and dedication to parenting. She has a natural gift for supporting and inspiring others, and I can already imagine her creating a joyful, and nurturing environment for a child. I’m endlessly grateful for her.

My husband is loyal, compassionate, and full of joy. He’s my greatest supporter, always making me feel loved and valued. His playful sense of humor brightens every day. He loves cooking, hiking, fantasy football, board games, and painting. He’s also a huge sports fan. But what truly sets him apart is how he connects with kids. He’s the fun uncle—the one who gets down on the floor to play, organizes games that have everyone laughing, and ensures every child feels special. He adores newborns and never wants to put them down. As a partner, he listens with care, celebrates my wins, and supports me unconditionally. He’s thoughtful, affectionate, and always present. Becoming a father has always been his dream. He’s excited to build a loving home, create lifelong memories, and guide a child through life’s adventures. I know he will be an incredible dad, offering boundless love, laughter, and wisdom every step of the way. I’m so lucky to raise a family with him.

We live in a vibrant city in California, a place we love for its endless possibilities. From sunny beaches and scenic mountain trails to the thriving arts, culture, and theater scene, the city offers countless experiences we’re excited to share with a child.

At home, we’ve created a cozy space filled with the things we love. We especially enjoy indoor gardening, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time playing games and reading. Our community offers fun events like outdoor movie nights, farmers’ markets, and art festivals, which we can’t wait to experience as a family.

We’re excited to share this enriching environment with a child, nurturing their creativity and love for exploration while building lasting family memories.

Our family is a vibrant and loving community that spans across Southern California. We are lucky to have a large extended family filled with grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Adoption is already part of our family’s story—one of our cousins was lovingly adopted from Latin parents. In addition to our family ties, we have a close-knit group of lifelong friends who we consider part of our extended family. These friendships have grown and strengthened over the years, becoming a vital part of our support system.

We gather often for food and fun, whether it’s casual weekends together or big celebrations during the holidays. From sharing meals and playing games to creating new traditions, we treasure these moments and are excited to welcome a child into a community filled with love, laughter, and endless support.

Srey and I are a mixed-race couple, and one of the things we truly value about our relationship is the beauty of our differences. We come from different cultures, have lived in different places, and have experienced life through unique lenses. This brings a richness to our partnership—offering us the opportunity to learn from one another and grow together. These differences have strengthened our understanding and appreciation of diversity, and we’re excited to embrace and celebrate those same qualities in our future child, no matter their race or background. We see these differences as gifts that enrich our lives and will enrich theirs too, creating a home filled with respect, curiosity, and love.

By Jeramiah: Christmas is a big celebration in our family, full of cherished traditions that have been passed down through the years. One of the most special traditions happens on Christmas Eve when we all gather at my aunt and uncle’s house for a festive dinner. The evening always ends with the entire family crowding onto the stairs for a group photo. As a kid, I thought it was so cheesy, but now I treasure those photos—they’re a beautiful record of how our family has grown and changed over time.

Another tradition that still makes me smile is one my dad created when I was little. He had a friend dress up as Santa and sneak into the house to place gifts in our living room. My parents would wake me and my sister just in time to catch a glimpse of “Santa” before ushering us back to bed so we wouldn’t scare him away. It’s those kinds of magical moments that I look forward to sharing with a child—carrying on the traditions that made my own childhood so special and creating new ones to make the holidays uniquely ours.

Zoe became part of our family in 2013, though it didn’t start that way. Jeramiah was cat-sitting for friends who kept going out of town for work. After months of back-and-forth, his friends realized their travel schedule was too hectic to keep caring for Zoe and decided to put her up for adoption. Heartbroken by the thought of losing her, Jeramiah didn’t hesitate to step up and make her officially part of his life. Though Srey is allergic to cats, Zoe quickly won her over, and now we can’t imagine life without her. Zoe has taught us patience, compassion, and unconditional love.
